Those SIS Ranch Girls

A blog inspired by the lives of a family of deer residing on a Texas deer ranch.

Name:
Location: Texas

A city girl living from Las Vegas to Dallas to Chicago, now lives in the country with my husband and daughter - when she's not away at college. I have always "heard" what the animals have to say, now I have a way to creatively feature their thoughts!

Hi!

Hi! I'm Bell. I'm playing hide-and-seek. I see you. Sh-h-h-h, we don't want Chili to find me. She's looking, but she's over in the other set of trees. I'm smaller, so I can hide better. Te-he. That silly, silly sister of mine. Rosebud lives at The Ritz, and we have seen her once in awhile. I can't wait to play with her and our other friends who went away to baby deer school. I don't know why you have to go to school to be a baby deer, but I guess they needed some special attention.

My mommy is Pepper and my daddy is Wildthing. They lived at Cheeks Deer Farm. But, my mommy is here at SIS Ranch now and she says she likes everything...but cows. I don't know why, but she says to stay away from them. I think they look silly. They make funny noises and eat grass. Yuck!

Oh, gotta go. Chili is coming this way. Bye-e-e--e

Bell, baby of Pepper
